Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Craig Weller (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ares Constantinides (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Constantinides comes into a darkened arena with his song building. War by Judas Priest kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Ares Constantinides has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Craig Weller's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Craig Weller! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Ares Constantinides! The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Sosuke Kotani and Shigeki Sano.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Constantinides darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Constantinides wants to free his trapped foot but Weller is holding on for dear life with his legs. Weller wants to get back to his feet. Weller is refusing to be controlled, as Constantinides sits in half guard. Constantinides looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Constantinides trying to mount his opponent but Weller defends it. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's one minute gone in the round. Constantinides is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Weller defends it well. Constantinides landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. Weller is pressing down on Constantinides's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Weller will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Constantinides passes into half guard. Weller wants to control but Constantinides is keeping busy.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Constantinides lands a nice short elbow. Constantinides takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Constantinides thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Weller's head. Constantinides lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. Constantinides drops an elbow to the side of Weller's head. Weller keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Constantinides working over Weller with some ground and pound. Weller looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. Weller is rocked! Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Constantinides thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Constantinides looks gassed! Constantinides sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Weller defending well though. Constantinides not landing any meaningful shots this time. Constantinides throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Constantinides is looking to advance position but Weller won't allow it. Constantinides missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Constantinides sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Weller defending well though.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Constantinides shoots in looking for a takedown. Weller tries to sprawl out of it but Constantinides keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Weller manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Weller wants to clinch. Constantinides changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Weller tries to avoid it but Constantinides manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Weller to the ground. Weller escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Constantinides has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Weller. Constantinides drops his shoulder and cracks Weller with a huge uppercut! Weller goes down! Can Constantinides finish him?
Oh Weller is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Constantinides is working Weller over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Constantinides arches his back and unloads with a massive left and a right! Weller's eyes roll back into his head, he's out cold! The ref dives in to stop the fight - wow, they were hard shots!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:05 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Ares Constantinides!
