Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Viktor is (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chuck Shamrock (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Shamrock is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Courtesy of the Red, White, and Blue. Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Viktor is! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Chuck Shamrock! The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Shirou Masuda and Hirohito Nitta.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Shamrock works the jab nicely. is looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this! Shamrock displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination.
It looks like Viktor is has been cut. is doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Shamrock shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Shamrock tries to free his leg and advance position but is is retaining full guard. Shamrock seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Shamrock slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
That's one minute gone in the round. Shamrock in side control, just content to control the action for now. is is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Shamrock is controlling him well. is is being controlled here. is prevents Shamrock from moving into mount. The referee tells the fighters to keep busy.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
OK we're going to have a standup here. Chuck Shamrock hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. is takes one to the chin there. Shamrock works over is's head and body with a nice combination. Shamrock closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into is's guard. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Shamrock stands up and waves to is to follow him. is walks into a left hand. Shamrock feints and as is raises his hands in defense, Shamrock changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Shamrock pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. is is keeping the position for now.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Shamrock slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Chuck Shamrock was stalling too much, according to the referee. Shamrock scores with a sloppy right hand. is should have avoided that one. Shamrock drives through with a takedown into is's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position. The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves. is keeping full guard, as Shamrock tries to pass.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Shamrock sitting in guard here, content to control. Shamrock stands and steps away. is gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. is needs to keep his hands up - Shamrock had a free shot at his head there.
is is rocked! Chuck Shamrock seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Shamrock comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Oh is is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Shamrock cracks is on the jaw with a powerful right hand and is falls backwards against the ropes. Shamrock follows up with more strikes that drop is to his knees. Shamrock keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save is! This one is all over!
