Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
17 - 5 - 0, fighting out of New York, Dan Smith! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
23 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Nick Fury! The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, James Atkins and Paul Tew.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Fury scores with a jab to the body. A combination from Fury does no damage. Smith tries to bum rush Fury with a series of wild strikes but Fury uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Nice straight punches there by Fury. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Fury. Smith throws a good cross that connects.
Fury lands with a kick to the temple. Smith shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
It looks like Dan Smith has been cut. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Fury keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Nice uppercut lands for Fury. That snapped Smith's head back.
Fury throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. A chopping leg kick lands by Fury. Fury throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Smith's head. Fury throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Fury staying out of range there. Fury bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Smith's head. Smith takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away. Smith thows a body shot but no joy. Smith misses with a right hand and Fury cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
That's one minute gone in the round. Fury wants to land a leg kick but Smith is out of range. Fury tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Fury slips a jab from Smith. A left and a right from Smith both land. Nice combination. Fury misses with a jab, cross combination.

Fury lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.
Smith swings and misses with a hook to the body.

Smith throws a lazy uppercut
and Fury finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body. Fury throws a series of punches but Smith avoids them all with ease. Smith takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. A telegraphed right hand from Smith misses the target. Smith misses with an uppercut. Fury saw that one coming.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Fury throws a nice inside leg kick. Smith takes one on the button. Smith misses with an uppercut. Fury misses with a low kick. Smith throws a shot from downtown. Fury moves away and avoids it. Smith fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Fury manages to avoid it. Smith misses with a double jab
and Fury counters by clinching up. A right handed body shot lands from Smith.
Fury tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage. Fury swings wildly with an uppercut but Smith uses good head movement to avoid it. Fury blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Fury lands with a short punch from the clinch.
Smith breaks the clinch.
Fury closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
That's three minutes gone in the round. An uppercut to the body lands inside from Fury. Fury lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage. Fury lands a right hand that snaps the head of Smith backwards. Smith wants to break the clinch but can't.
Fury lands a shoulder strike. Fury tries to land a knee to the head but misses.
Fury cracks Smith with a nice body shot. Smith tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Fury's elbow. Fury doesn't land with the attempted body shot.

Smith is breathing heavily. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Fury lands a shoulder strike. Fury swings wildly with an uppercut but Smith uses good head movement to avoid it. Fury tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage. Fury scores with an uppercut up the middle. Smith breaks the clinch.

Dan Smith's cut is getting worse. Dan Smith seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Fury moves out of range of the strikes. Smith swings widly with a right hand
and Fury counters with an outside leg kick.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Smith displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Fury. Fury misses with a low kick. Dan Smith is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Smith cracks a nice hook into Fury's ribs. Fury tries to clinch but Smith is having none of it. Fury throws a leg kick but Smith checks it. Fury lands a high kick!

and Fury counters with a slapping leg kick. Fury swings and misses with a hook to the body.
A looping hook to the body misses from Smith. Fury does a little dance to reset his feet. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Fury shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. Smith on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. Fury throws the kick towards the body but Smith avoids it. Fury takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Nick Fury dominated that round. The cut man is working on Dan Smith's cut. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Smith misses with a right hand and Fury counters with a left to the body. Fury pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way. Fury throws a front kick that sends Smith stumbling back into the cage. Fury moves out of range as Smith strikes. Fury is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range. Fury lands a nice looking body shot.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Fury jabs Smith to the body, keeping him at a distance. Fury lands with a kick to the ribs.
Fury feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Smith's calf. Fury looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Fury scores with a push kick. Fury bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut. Nick Fury seems to be getting the better of the standup. Smith takes a head kick and keeps coming.
That's one minute gone in the round. A decent looking cross lands there for Fury. Smith takes a kick to the body and keeps moving. Smith chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Fury can pounce on him.

Smith will be looking to protect his midsection after taking some solid kicks to the body. Fury shoots in but Smith avoids the takedown attempt easily. Fury lands with an overhand left.
Dan Smith's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Smith has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Smith there as he acknowledges the shot. Fury with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.

and Fury counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. Nice uppercut lands for Fury. That snapped Smith's head back.
Smith is rocked! Fury connects with a leg kick. Smith looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it. Fury wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Fury dips down and scores with a jab to the body. An inside leg kick lands from Fury. Nice body kick from Fury. Smith doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. A nice inside leg kick there by Fury. That's going to slow Smith down. Fury has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Smith takes a kick to the side of the head. Oh Smith is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Jeez, Dan Smith's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked. Smith tries to move into range but Fury moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand. Fury chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Fury throws a nice outside leg kick. Fury with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Fury lands a big right hand that sends Smith crashing to the mat! Fury stays standing though and waves Smith back to his feet!
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Dan Smith's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:58 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Nick Fury! An out of breath Nick Fury thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
