Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Hamad Al Zahran!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Daniel Sawden!
The judges for this bout are Paul Gruel, Chris Saunders and Ryoma Takatsuka.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Al Zahran throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Sawden sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Sawden takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Al Zahran slips under a jab.
Al Zahran connects with a good right hand that stumbles Sawden. Sawden circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Al Zahran paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Hamad Al Zahran seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Sawden comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Sawden slips under a jab from Al Zahran.
Al Zahran connects with a leg kick. Sawden looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Sawden blocks the body kick.
Sawden rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Al Zahran counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Sawden on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Al Zahran feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Sawden's calf.
Sawden throws a lazy right hand but Al Zahran sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Al Zahran keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Sawden looks to clinch
and Al Zahran counters with a low kick, right behind Sawden 's knee.
Al Zahran connects with a solid leg kick.
Sawden slips under a jab.
Al Zahran fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Sawden has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Al Zahran connects with an inside leg kick.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Al Zahran, right into the meat.
Sawden gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Nice body kick from Al Zahran.
Sawden looks winded!
Al Zahran chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Al Zahran throws a nice inside leg kick.
Al Zahran connects with an inside leg kick.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Sawden tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Sawden on the wrong end of a nice jab.


Sawden is rocked!
Al Zahran wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Sawden is still on wobbly legs! Can Al Zahran finish him?
Al Zahran connects with a picture perfect right hand that knocks Sawden out cold! This one is over in a flash!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:49 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Hamad Al Zahran!
