The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lannister is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by MacPherson.
Lannister lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Lannister connects with a crisp jab.
Lannister looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Some wild striking there from MacPherson.
MacPherson swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Lannister counters with a series of strikes. MacPherson will be more careful next time no doubt.
Lannister tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. MacPherson manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
