Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Frank Carlyle!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

8 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Lucas Faria!
The judges for this bout are Luis Engracia, Thiago Cunha and Mauricio Rocha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Carlyle pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Faria back to the cage. Carlyle follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
Carlyle throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Faria tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Carlyle is in Faria's guard.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Carlyle gets to his feet. Faria looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
Carlyle lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Faria circles away quickly and effectively.
Faria throws a sloppy head kick and Carlyle moves out of range easily.
A head kick misses from Faria.
Carlyle drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Faria keeping moving, preventing Carlyle from controlling successfully.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Carlyle postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Carlyle trying to control but Faria is working from the bottom.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Carlyle looking to pass the guard.
That's one minute gone in the round.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Frank Carlyle.
Faria tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Faria throws a head kick but Carlyle moves out of range.
Carlyle shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Carlyle missing with the ground and pound from half guard.
Carlyle is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Faria defends it well.
Carlyle tries to pass to full mount but Faria defends it.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Carlyle wants to lay and pray for a moment but Faria keeps working.
Carlyle is trying for a kimura here. Faria looks like he's in a lot of pain... and he's tapping out! Carlyle wins by kimura!
