The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chavez misses with a straight left.
Corleone checks a leg kick.
Chavez's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Corleone connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Chavez scrambles back to his feet.
Corleone tries to clinch but Chavez moves out of range.
Corleone takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Corleone clinches with his opponent.
Corleone fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Corleone misses with a knee strike.
A short right hand to the side of the head by Corleone.
Corleone using the Thai clinch to land knees to the body.

Chavez lands a body shot in the clinch.

Chavez can't find room to land a body shot as Corleone controls the action.
Corleone works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.
Corleone tries to stall but Chavez uses the opportunity to gain a better position.
Chavez misses with a short punch on the inside.
Chavez wants to break free but Corleone has control.
Corleone using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Chavez has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Corleone scores with an uppercut up the middle.
Corleone slowing the pace effectively.

Chavez manages to break the clinch.
Corleone misses with a straight right.
Chavez bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
The fight moves into the clinch position.

With the fighters clinched against the cage, Corleone creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

Chavez tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Corleone's elbow.
Chavez tries to throw a body punch but Corleone avoids it by throwing Chavez back against the cage.
Corleone misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Corleone is looking to control Chavez's arms but Chavez gets an underhook and turns him. Now Corleone has his back to the cage.
A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.

Chavez is looking to break free of the clinch but Corleone has double underhooks.

Chavez misses with a body punch.
Corleone lands an elbow that stopped Chavez in his tracks for a moment.
Chavez wants to break free but Corleone has control.
Corleone lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.
Chavez breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Corleone tries to close the distance and clinch but Chavez swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Good leg kick by Corleone there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Corleone thows a body kick. Chavez tries to catch it but that hurt him.
Corleone displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Chavez throws out the jab.
Corleone drives through and clinches with Chavez against the cage.
Corleone is struggling to control the position.
Chavez tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Corleone digs a right hand underneath Chavez's ribcage. Chavez let out a lung full of air as it connected.
Chavez looks winded!
Chavez takes a knee to the side of the body.
Corleone cracks Chavez with a nice body shot.
Corleone content to slow the pace in the clinch.

Corleone scores with a knee to the head.
Chavez is rocked!
Corleone maintains plum control as Chavez tries to back straight out! Corleone connects with one knee! Two knees! Three, four, five, six...seven unasnwered knees! Chavez blocks the eight but eats the ninth - then collapses! Oh the brutality!
