Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Chris Mayo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Derrick Rose (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mayo's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Super Furry Animals - Golden Retriever. Rose has chosen Mama Said Knock You Out as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

13 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Derrick Rose!
The judges for this bout are Roger Salmon, Paul Gruel and Josh West.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Mayo, as that shot connected.
Mayo on the wrong end of a kick to the body.
Chris Mayo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Rose lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
Mayo gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Rose avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Mayo swings for the body but Rose moves out of range.
Mayo swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Mayo misses with an uppercut. Rose saw that one coming.
Rose bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Rose dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Mayo. That did some damage!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Mayo fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Rose manages to avoid it.
Mayo throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Mayo misses with a lunging right hand
and Rose counters with a leg kick.
Mayo throws a shot from downtown. Rose moves away and avoids it.
Mayo closes the distance and pushes Rose back into the cage.

Mayo tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Mayo is looking to control Rose's arms but Rose gets an underhook and turns him. Now Mayo has his back to the cage.
Mayo misses with the head strike.
Rose misses with the head strike.
Mayo misses with a hook from the clinch.
Mayo fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Rose managing to block the knees to the body from Mayo.
Rose pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Nice defenses there by Rose.
Mayo stuns Rose with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
A slapping body kick lands there for Rose.
Mayo throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Rose moves into range and connects with a jab.
Mayo misses with a hook. Rose ducked under it nicely.
Mayo darts in trying to clinch
and Rose counters with a straight right hand.

Mayo takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.
Mayo with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Rose to score with a decent uppercut.

and Rose counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Mayo looks to throw the jab but Rose is out of range.
Good work by Mayo as he checks the leg kick.

Rose closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Mayo tries to clinch there but Rose circles away.
Mayo takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Mayo pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Rose moves out of range as Mayo strikes.
Rose walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Mayo checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Mayo gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.

Mayo shoots in for a double leg but Rose sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Mayo tries to close the distance and clinch but Rose swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Mayo tries to clinch up but Rose circles away and keeps his distance.
Mayo fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Rose on the side of the head.
Mayo throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Rose counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Mayo drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Mayo postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Rose is on top in guard.
Rose scoring with some ground and pound.
Rose pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Mayo is keeping the position for now.
Rose engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.

Rose looking to sit in guard and control but Mayo gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Rose keeping moving, preventing Mayo from controlling successfully.
Rose pulls Mayo in close to prevent any damage.
Rose's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Rose wants to sweep here but Mayo controlling him for the moment.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Derrick Rose dominated that round.

Mayo avoids the body shot from Rose.
Rose throws a jab but it's blocked by Mayo.
Rose just misses with a punch to the body.
Rose connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Mayo lands a head shot.
Mayo is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all.
Mayo takes one to the chin there.
Rose walks into a stiff left hand from Mayo.
Mayo misses the jab.
Mayo throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Mayo fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Rose manages to avoid it.
Mayo looks to land a right hand but Rose moved out of range.
Rose uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Mayo.
Rose comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Mayo swings for the body but Rose moves out of range.
Rose misses with a wild combination.
Mayo throws a right hand that misses
and Rose cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Mayo is rocked!
Mayo throws an off balance right hand
and Rose counters with a left and a right... and another left... and another!! That last one turned off the lights! Mayo has no idea who he is and is as he gazes up at the spotlights. Brutal knockout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:19 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Derrick Rose!
After winning the bout, Derrick Rose thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
