Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Demon Maia (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jonathan Moxon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Maia comes to the cage accompanied by Numb/Encore. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The judges for this bout are Roger Salmon, Ryoma Takatsuka and Chris Saunders.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Moxon ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Maia moves away.
Moxon shoots in but Maia avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Moxon buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Moxon fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Moxon throws a leg kick that misses.
Moxon throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Maia takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.

Moxon throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Maia was covering up waiting for the punch and Moxon finishes the takedown easily into guard.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Maia is on top in guard.
Demon Maia has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Maia works a leg free and moves into half guard.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Maia is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Moxon defends it well.
Moxon is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Maia pulls his head out easily.
And that's the end of the fight!
Demon Maia showed his dominance in that final round.
