Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Fred Boyle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Russ Rutger (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rutger has chosen Prince Ital Joe feat. Marky Mark - United as his entrance music. Russ Rutger will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

20 - 8 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Russ Rutger!
The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, Paul Tew and Colin Fotheringham.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rutger connects with the punch.
Boyle gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
It looks like Fred Boyle has been cut.
Boyle shoots in for a takedown but Rutger shows good takedown defense.
Rutger misses with a kick to the body.
Rutger misses with a straight left.
Rutger throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Rutger clinches up with Boyle and pushes him back against the cage.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Boyle is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Boyle is trying to drag Rutger to the mat but Rutger just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Fred Boyle. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Rutger scores with a shoulder strike.

Rutger escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Rutger displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Boyle.
Rutger fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Rutger ducks under a wild hook from Boyle.
Donk. Boyle catches Rutger right on the button with a cross.
Boyle throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Rutger counters with a nice uppercut.
Rutger tries to clinch up.
Rutger moves into the clinch successfully.

Boyle is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Rutger to keep the fight standing.

Rutger lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
Rutger is defending well against a takedown attempt.
Rutger can't find room to land a body shot as Boyle controls the action.

Boyle tries to pull guard but Rutger forces him back to his feet, against the cage.

Boyle is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Rutger pulls him back up using the underhooks.
Rutger gets through Boyle's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
Boyle tries for a takedown. No joy.
Boyle jumps guard but Rutger stands there with Boyle around his waist. Boyle gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Rutger lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.
Rutger gets through Boyle's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.

Rutger fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
A right hook to the body lands for Rutger.
Rutger escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Rutger takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Rutger fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Boyle checks it well.
Boyle shoots in for a double leg but Rutger sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Rutger throws a leg kick but Boyle checks it.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Boyle ducks under a wild hook from Rutger.
Rutger connects with an inside leg kick.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Russ Rutger dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Fred Boyle's cut.
That's time! Boyle's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Rutger pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Rutger lands a body shot.
Rutger moves in looking to clinch but Boyle pushes him off.
A good leg kick by Rutger.
Rutger fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Boyle.
Fred Boyle is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Boyle misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Rutger buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Rutger lands with a nice body punch.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Rutger, right into the meat.
Rutger thumps Boyle with a low kick.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Rutger moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Rutger throws a nice outside leg kick.
Rutger throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Boyle.
Boyle is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight.
Boyle takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Rutger chopping away at his opponent's legs.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Rutger cracks a nice hook into Boyle's ribs.
Rutger throws a head kick but Boyle moves out of range.
Rutger punishes Boyle's body with a nice straight punch.
Nice straight punches there by Rutger. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Rutger.
Boyle is rocked!
Rutger lands a body shot.
Oh Boyle is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Rutger fakes a right and follows up with a big left that drops Boyle to one knee - oooooh, he's wobbly! Boyle looks to clinch but Rutger throws him off and pummels him into the canvas! Boyle taps out under the strikes! The fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:06 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Strikes). Russ Rutger!
In his post fight interview, Russ Rutger started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
