Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
6 - 5 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Johan Gunter!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Vladimir Khabensky, Sergei Dronov and Konstantin Menshow.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Dillian is defended easily by Gunter.
Gunter throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Dillian.
Dillian looks for a takedown but Gunter sprawls well.
Gunter lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Dillian circles away quickly and effectively.
Dillian fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Johan Gunter has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bob Dillian.
Gunter throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Dillian on the side of the head.
Gunter changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Dillian tries to avoid it but Gunter manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Dillian to the ground. Dillian escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Dillian fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
A looping hook to the body misses from Gunter. Dillian does a little dance to reset his feet.

Johan Gunter seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Dillian displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Gunter throws out the jab.
Gunter throws a series of punches but Dillian moves out of range.
Gunter rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Dillian moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Dillian.
Dillian fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Gunter to the ground. Dillian is now in Gunter's guard.
Gunter will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Dillian wants to control from the top but Gunter keeps moving.
Dillian drops back, looking for a kneebar! Gunter looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Gunter looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Gunter!

Dillian is trying to control Gunter's posture but Gunter avoids it.

The ground and pound from Gunter seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent.

We're going to have a standup here because Johan Gunter wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.
The fighters are starting to get sweaty, which will make takedowns a bit more tricky.
Dillian has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.

Gunter swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Dillian shoots for a takedown but Gunter saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Dillian lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Gunter has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Gunter and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Gunter lands a jab followed by a vicious hook that sends Dillian sprawling to the canvas. Gunter follows him down, looking for the kill. Can Dillian hang on?

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Gunter is looking to advance position but Dillian won't allow it.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Gunter in particular looking to stall.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Dillian is looking for a kimura but Gunter is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Dillian to get the leverage.

Dillian is taking a breather. Gunter says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
Gunter is doing well to control the position and prevent Dillian from advancing to side control.

Gunter lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Dillian backs up against the cage.

Dillian dives in and grabs Gunter's left leg, looking for a takedown. Gunter pushes down on Dillian's head and hops out.

Gunter pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Dillian back to the cage. Gunter follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Gunter, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
