The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smith scores with a jab to the body.
Hanes fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Smith avoids it really well and circles away.
Smith scores with a jab to the head.
It looks like Guy Hanes has been cut.
Hanes throws a right hand that Smith ducks under and follows up with a left that Smith also avoids with ease.
Hanes is breathing heavily.
Smith will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Smith connects with a left and a right that sees a clearly hurt Hanes covering up! Smith comes in with a big uppercut and Hanes goes doooown! He's slumped up against the cage, eyes staring blankly into space.
