Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Wesley Smith and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Arce moves out of range of the body kick from Carrier.
Carrier tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.
A momentary lapse in concentration from Carrier enables Arce to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Carrier manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Arce postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Carrier working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Arce.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Arce throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
Arce passes Carrier's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Arce in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Carrier tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Arce!
