Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ace Heart (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sid Lagove (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Lagove's choice of entrance music: little less conversation -Elvis JXL. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Tiny Johnson and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Heart has taken the fight to the clinch.
Heart taking a break, stalling in the clinch.
Heart tries a knee to the head but Lagove blocks it.
Heart with an attempt at a knee that misses.
Lagove tries to pull guard but Heart holds him up against the cage and eventually Lagove drops back down to his feet.
Heart escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Heart darts in and clinches Lagove up against the cage.

Nice takedown defense from Heart. No joy for Lagove on that attempt.
The fight stays on the outside here - Heart looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Lagove ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Lagove no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Lagove has his foot on Heart's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Heart works his way back into a safe position though.

Lagove is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Lagove had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Heart is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Lagove Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Heart's back instead.
Lagove looks gassed!
Heart controlling the position well but he knows he's in a bad position.
Heart tries to escape the position - he's now mounted. Is that better or worse? Hard to tell!
Lagove punishing his opponent with strikes.
Heart is bucking up trying to escape but Lagove cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
Lagove wants to take his opponent's back but he's not managed it.
Lagove working for a submission but Heart is keeping him at bay.

The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Lagove lands a nice short elbow.

Lagove looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Lagove is pressing down on Heart's thigh, looking to free his foot. Heart is holding on for now.
Lagove moves into full mount! Heart won't be happy about that!

Lagove misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Lagove shoots in but Heart avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Lagove takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Lagove shoots in looking for a takedown. Heart tries to sprawl out of it but Lagove keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Heart manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Ace Heart has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Sid Lagove.
Lagove misses with a takedown attempt - Heart sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Lagove is breathing heavily.
No joy there for Heart, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Heart scores with a one two! Lagove had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.

Lagove closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Heart has one foot on Lagove's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet.

The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!
Lagove throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Heart's waist but Heart gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Lagove off to one side.
Heart misses with a two punch combination.
Heart tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Lagove changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Heart tries to avoid it but Lagove manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Heart to the ground. Heart escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Heart throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Lagove shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Heart as he jumps to the side.

Heart rushes Lagove and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Lagove has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Heart is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Lagove drops down looking for an ankle pick but Heart pulls his leg out and moves away.
