Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Miroslav Akinfeav (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Uriah Hasll (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Miroslav Akinfeav! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Uriah Hasll! The judges for this bout are Paul Aken, Aafke Stam and Paulsen Ambrosius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nice takedown defense from Akinfeav. No joy for Hasll on that attempt. Hasll shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Akinfeav defends it nicely. Hasll shoots for a double leg takedown but Akinfeav sprawls well. He's pushed Hasll's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Miroslav Akinfeav has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Uriah Hasll. Akinfeav throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Hasll tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Akinfeav is in Hasll's guard. Hasll is looking to sweep but instead, Akinfeav has passed into half guard.
Hasll is looking to improve his position.
Akinfeav trying to control the pace. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's one minute gone in the round. Akinfeav thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Hasll's head. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Akinfeav connects with a nice short shot to Hasll's temple. Hasll is looking for a sweep. Akinfeav is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Akinfeav wants to stand up but Hasll is controlling the position.
Akinfeav perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. Akinfeav tries to stand but can't do so whilst Hasll controls his leg.
Miroslav Akinfeav has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet. Akinfeav circles away from the clinch attempt.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hasll tries to close the distance and clinch up but Akinfeav swats him away and circles back towards the center. Hasll shoots in looking for a takedown but Akinfeav manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Hasll's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Hasll wants to clinch. Akinfeav throws a body kick but he wasn't in range. Akinfeav looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Akinfeav controls the pace of the fight for a moment. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Akinfeav distracts Hasll with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. Hasll avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Akinfeav throws a big elbow that misses. Hasll not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Akinfeav has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Hasll looks winded! Akinfeav wanted to stand there but Hasll had control of the position. Akinfeav lands a couple of elbows. Akinfeav is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Akinfeav with a nice head shot there. Akinfeav not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Akinfeav throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Akinfeav controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
Miroslav Akinfeav has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet. Some bone on bone action there as Akinfeav checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one. Akinfeav closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Hasll did well to prevent Akinfeav getting side control. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Akinfeav wants to get back to his feet.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Well, if Akinfeav is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

Miroslav Akinfeav dominated that round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Hasll fails to land with a series of punches.
Akinfeav closes the distance and clinches. Akinfeav is trying to pull guard but Hasll turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch. Akinfeav goes for a takedown attempt but Hasll pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Akinfeav sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs. Hasll will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Hasll with a poor takedown and Akinfeav counters with a single leg into guard. Hasll didn't expect that. Akinfeav connects with a couple of short punches. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Akinfeav's corner is telling him to maintain position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Akinfeav advances to half guard. Hasll is breathing heavily. Akinfeav lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. Akinfeav wants to get back to his feet.
Akinfeav slows the pace down in half guard. Akinfeav wants to stand up but Hasll has a hold of him and won't allow it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Akinfeav content to control rather than advance. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Hasll trying to control from the bottom.
Miroslav Akinfeav overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
The ref stands the fighters back up because Miroslav Akinfeav just wasn't active enough. Akinfeav wants to clinch. Hasll fails with a takedown attempt. Miroslav Akinfeav has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Uriah Hasll.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hasll tries to clinch up and Akinfeav moves into the clinch. Hasll goes for a takedown in the clinch but Akinfeav prevents it.
Hasll jumps guard but Akinfeav stands there with Hasll around his waist. Hasll gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Akinfeav shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Hasll manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Akinfeav wanted to stand there but Hasll had control of the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Akinfeav slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Akinfeav forces his way into half guard. Akinfeav perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. Akinfeav has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Akinfeav lands strikes from half guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Akinfeav shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Akinfeav keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action. Akinfeav is thwarting Hasll's attempts to control the position. Akinfeav performing his best blanket impression for a moment.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Miroslav Akinfeav. Hasll slaps away a takedown attempt from Akinfeav, before circling back to the center of the mat.
That's one minute gone in the round. Akinfeav stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Akinfeav wants it to stay on the feet. The fight stays on the outside here - Hasll looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Hasll will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Hasll takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Akinfeav closes the distance and clinches. Akinfeav has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Hasll clear over his head and slammed him to the mat! Akinfeav has good solid back control here.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Akinfeav is working for the choke. I would put my money on him to finish from this position. He's rolled onto his back and has dragged Hasll with him. Hasll is trying to defend but Akinfeav has an arm under the chin now! Hasll grimaces and is forced to tap out!
