Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Olaf Brolaf (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Melo Deng (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Ivan Kurochkin, Sergei Dronov and Fedor Mirinova.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brolaf tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Deng paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Brolaf clinches up with Deng and pushes him back against the cage.
Deng prevents a takedown attempt there.
Brolaf prevents Deng from breaking the clinch.
Brolaf has Deng pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Deng manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
Deng tries to break free but Brolaf pushes him back against the cage.
Deng escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Brolaf manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Deng manages to get himself to full guard.

Deng really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Brolaf. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Deng is looking to take a break and control but Brolaf is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Brolaf is trying to control Deng's posture but Deng avoids it.

Deng is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Olaf Brolaf seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

That's time! Brolaf's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

A frustrated look appears on Deng's face as he tries to break the clinch.

Brolaf closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Deng did well to prevent Brolaf getting side control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Brolaf wants to work for an arm triangle but Deng is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Brolaf works his way into side control.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Deng is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Brolaf has just dragged him back down to the mat.

Deng takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.

Deng wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Brolaf manages to pass to side control.
