Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Troy Brown!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Hector Valdemes!
The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, Richard Clark and Andrew Berry.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Valdemes shoots for a takedown but Brown saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Brown misses with a low kick.
Valdemes closes the distance and clinches up with Brown, looking for a takedown. Valdemes pushes Brown against the cage but Brown circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Brown has closed the distance and engaged Valdemes in a clinch.
Brown gets control of Valdemes's arms and successfully pulls guard. Brown will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
Valdemes is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Valdemes drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Brown dives on top into guard.
Brown trying to control but Valdemes is working from the bottom.
Brown might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Valdemes escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Brown gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Brown wants to stand but Valdemes is controlling his posture from full guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Valdemes working for a triangle but Brown defends it easily.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Valdemes working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Brown doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Brown manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Valdemes looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Valdemes had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Brown defends it easily.
Brown has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Brown throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
Brown trying to control but Valdemes is working from the bottom.

Valdemes looking for a triangle here. Brown is fighting it but it looks tight! Valdemes pulls the arm across and this one won't last much longer! Nope, Brown is tapping out - this one is all over!
