The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sakara tries to score a power double leg takedown but Nunes sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Sakara somewhat.
Nunes lands a lovely overhand right.
It looks like Giovanni Sakara has been cut.
Nunes throws out a loose jab but Sakara uses good head movement to avoid it.
Nunes connects with a body shot.
Oooooh!!! Nunes has knocked Sakara down with a huge combo! Nunes steps away and waves a wobbly Sakara back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Nunes connects with a nice cross there... Sakara is looking wobbly and Nunes recognises it - he's rushed in and lands two more brutal shots that send Sakara to the canvas, out cold! A brutal finish to the fight - Nunes jumps onto the cage to celebrate with the crowd!
