Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between John Shamrock (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Artur Hawkwing (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hawkwing throws a leg kick
and Shamrock counters with a one-two to the body.
Hawkwing misses with a head kick.
Shamrock moves out of range of the body kick.
Hawkwing misses with a leg kick.
An inside leg kick from Hawkwing misses.
Shamrock checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
Hawkwing walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Shamrock checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Shamrock fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Shamrock slips under a jab from Hawkwing.
Hawkwing misses the shot to the body.
No luck for Hawkwing with that takedown attempt.
Hawkwing fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

Shamrock tries to clinch but Hawkwing moves out of range.
Hawkwing looks for the body kick but Shamrock saw that one coming.
Hawkwing throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Hawkwing tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Shamrock was well out of range. Poor timing from Hawkwing.
Shamrock moves out of range of the leg kick from Hawkwing.

Shamrock pushes Hawkwing up against the cage in a clinch.

Shamrock's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Shamrock bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Hawkwing ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Shamrock moves away.
Hawkwing has his takedown stuffed
and Shamrock counters with a left and a right that stings Hawkwing.
John Shamrock has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Artur Hawkwing.

Hawkwing shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Hawkwing misses with a low kick as Shamrock jumps back.
Hawkwing thows a leg kick but Shamrock checks it
and Shamrock cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Hawkwing misses with a low kick.
Hawkwing tries to score with a low kick but Shamrock moves his leg out of the way.
Shamrock avoids a low kick by using good footwork.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Hawkwing throws a poor cross that misses
and Shamrock counters with an inside leg kick.
Hawkwing will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.

Shamrock dives in and scores a takedown into Hawkwing's guard.
Shamrock wants to stand but Hawkwing has a closed guard, so he can't escape.

Hawkwing wants to sweep but no luck.
Shamrock is in close to Hawkwing's body, working some short punches and elbows.
Hawkwing is trying to keep Shamrock in close.

Shamrock is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Hawkwing has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Shamrock is looking to defend but Hawkwing has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Shamrock! Hawkwing pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Shamrock taps out and this one is all over!
