Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Lee Woo Jin!
The judges for this bout are John Roberts, Franklyn Lucas and Dean Styles.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Woo Jin fails with a takedown attempt.
Down on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.

We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Woo Jin has eaten all the pies!
Woo Jin tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Woo Jin manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Down manages to get himself to full guard.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Down working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.

Down drops back looking for a leg! Woo Jin is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Woo Jin manages to kick Down off! Down jumps back into Woo Jin's guard.

Down throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Woo Jin works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Down will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Down has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Woo Jin bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Down's guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Woo Jin is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Down has escaped the position, nice work there.
Down is trying to improve his position.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Woo Jin goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Down has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Woo Jin but great work by Down.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Take Down will probably get the nod.
That's time! Down's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.


Woo Jin tries to score a power double leg takedown but Down sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Woo Jin somewhat.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Woo Jin enables Down to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Woo Jin manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Down knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Woo Jin on the ground.

Down drops back, looking for a kneebar! Woo Jin looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Woo Jin looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Woo Jin!

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Lee Woo Jin showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Down postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.

Down is looking to pass into half guard but Woo Jin pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Woo Jin is in guard.
Woo Jin stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Down swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Down on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Down tries to get out of the position.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Lee Woo Jin was stalling too much, according to the referee.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Woo Jin leaves Down with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

And that's the end of the fight!
Take Down showed his dominance in that final round.
I think Down has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
