Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between John Berry (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Diego Sanchez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, John Berry ! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
9 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Diego Sanchez! The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Cecil Peabody and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nice sprawl there from Sanchez as Berry shoots in. Sanchez gets the takedown into side control. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Sanchez working the head with strikes. Berry is working to avoid the ground and pound but Sanchez connects with a decent elbow. Sanchez grinds an elbow into Berry 's temple. Sanchez tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Sanchez trying to control the action but Berry is working from the bottom. The referee asks Sanchez politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Sanchez prefers to stall for the moment though.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sanchez tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily. Sanchez works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head. Berry is not content to let Sanchez control the position. Berry really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Berry wants to control but Sanchez postures up. Sanchez working the head and body with strikes. Sanchez is putting a hurting on Berry here, landing some big shots from side control. Sanchez takes a little break here. Berry wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Sanchez wants to lay and pray for a moment but Berry keeps working. Sanchez content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though. Berry tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Sanchez cranks the arm and Berry screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Berry , who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:34 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Americana). Diego Sanchez! Diego Sanchez seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.
