Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Rich Brown (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Petr Had (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Rich Brown! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Petr Had! The judges for this bout are Arvi Lind, Marco Blurström and Roosa Järviläinen.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Brown looks to land a combination but Had avoids it well. Had takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. Nice defenses there by Had. Had jabs at Brown's body. Brown misses with a wild combination.
Brown throws a right hand that Had ducks under and follows up with a left that Had also avoids with ease. Brown steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Had. Had walks into a jab. Brown wants to clinch.
Had shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Had lands strikes from half guard.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Had is nestled in close to Brown, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. Had thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Brown's head. Had throwing shots but Brown is blocking nicely. Had lands strikes from half guard. Brown is looking for a sweep. Had is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Had wants to lay and pray for a moment but Brown keeps working. Had thows a huge punch but Brown dodges it nicely.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. Brown is trying to maintain the position but Had is very close to passing his half guard. Had wants to pass to mount but Brown is defending the position. Had prevents Brown from improving his position. Brown wants to control but Had is keeping busy.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
 The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Brown throws a body punch but Had moves out of range. Had dodges the punch combination from Brown.
Brown throws a right and a left that Had avoids nicely. Brown tries to close the distance and clinch up against the ropes but Had paws at him with a jab and circles away. Brown tries for a takedown but Had circles away easily and Had counters with a lovely shot to the body. Brown is breathing heavily. Had scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard. Brown drops his hands momentarily and Had takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head. Brown defending well as Had loads up on a big left hand.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Had looks to land a combination but Brown avoids it well.
Had darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Brown gets back to full guard.
Had preventing the sweep. Had wants to pass the guard but Brown is keeping the position. Had wants to control from the top but Brown keeps moving. Brown keeping full guard, as Had tries to pass.
Had thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Had must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. Had in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Had stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Brown swivels though and keeps the full guard. The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
 Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Brown comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Brown looks to clinch and Had counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Brown misses with a two punch combination.

Brown tries to bum rush Had with a series of wild strikes but Had uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Brown with a body punch. A glancing blow. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Brown throws a solid leg kick but Had takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Brown. No luck for Brown with that takedown attempt. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Petr Had dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Had misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Brown counters with a single leg into guard. Had didn't expect that. Had utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Brown preventing the sweep. Brown wants to control from the top but Had keeps moving. Brown trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Brown wants to control from the top but Had keeps moving.

 That's one minute gone in the round. Brown goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Had fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Brown sprawls well initially but Had persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Had looks to score some points with some ground and pound. Had wants to lay and pray for a moment but Brown keeps working. Brown is holding on to half guard well. Brown manages to get to full guard.

 That's two minutes gone in the round. Had missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Brown pulls Had in to control the position.

 That's three minutes gone in the round. Had wants to take a breather but Brown is having none of it.
Had is trying to work for a kimura but Brown is defending well.

Brown is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Had's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Had's back! Had manages to reverse the position and now he's in Brown's guard. Nice work there by Had.

 That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Brown trying to control the position here. Had stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Brown swivels though and keeps the full guard. Had throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Brown wants to sweep here but Had controlling him for the moment.

Brown parries the strikes from Had easily there. Had is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Brown to escape.

Rich Brown dominated that second round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!
Had shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Brown as he jumps to the side. Brown throws a head kick but Had moves out of range.
Brown catches Had with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong! Had throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Brown swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Brown throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Had. Brown tries to clinch but Had moves out of range. Brown has a takedown stuffed. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Had looks to land a right hand but Brown moved out of range. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Had lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.

Had is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Brown is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.  That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Brown is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
Had trying to work for an americana but Brown has managed to regain full guard.

Had working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Brown doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Brown manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Brown pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Had is keeping the position for now.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Brown not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Had has his foot on Brown's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Brown works his way back into a safe position though. Had looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Brown pushes down on Had's leg and manages to get into half guard. Brown trying to control the action but Had is working from the bottom. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Brown sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Had defending well though. Had is staying active underneath Brown, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Rich Brown. I think Brown has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
