The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Savage shoots in looking for a takedown but Please manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Savage's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Savage fails with the takedown.
Savage tries to close the distance and clinch up but Please swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Please lands a left and a right that send Savage crashing to the mat, dazed. Please thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
It looks like Jason Savage has been cut.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Savage avoids the body shot from Please.
Please throws a jab but it's blocked by Savage.
Savage is looking to clinch but Please is avoiding it.
Please lands a glancing blow to the side of Savage's head.
Please drops Savage with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Savage looks back up at him and smiles so Please waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Savage is rocked!
Savage glances at the clock... BAM! Please nails him with a big right hand! A momentary lapse in concentration sends Savage crashing to the mat! The referee steps in and this one is over! Damn, Savage is out of it, he thinks the ref is his opponent!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:37 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). King Please!
