And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Frank Antenori and Jack Bonds.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kerby misses with a low kick.
Kerby shoots in looking for a takedown. Wallace tries to sprawl out of it but Kerby keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Wallace manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Kerby drives through with a takedown into guard.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.

and Wallace counters with a three punch combo that has Kerby backing up. Kerby nods at Wallace to acknowledge the strikes.

Bruce Kerby seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Wallace clinches up with Kerby and pushes him back against the cage.
Kerby is working for takedown but Wallace is calmly controlling the position for now.

Wallace decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Kerby, up you get!

Kerby is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Wallace is keeping busy.

Wallace jumps guard and drags Kerby to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Blake Wallace dominated that round.
That's time! Kerby's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.



Kerby drives through and clinches with Wallace against the cage.
Kerby jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Wallace walks away with a smile on his face. Kerby gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Kerby has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Well Wallace has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
