Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Daniel Germain (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Andrew Wall (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Andrew Wall is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Daniel Germain! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Andrew Wall! The judges for this bout are , Timothy Bukovac and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Wall lands with a nice body punch. Germain throws a right and a left that Wall avoids nicely. Germain fails in his attempt to clinch. Germain looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Wall feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Germain throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Wall escapes and throws Germain's legs to the side, diving into side control! Wall is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Germain will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already. Wall decides to take the fight back to the feet. Germain swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Wall finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body. Sloppy strikes from Germain. Those never looked like landing. Germain throws a combination that misses and Wall counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Germain thinking. Daniel Germain seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Germain is breathing heavily. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Germain closes the distance but Wall moves to the side and Wall counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters. Germain tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Wall counters with a nice body shot.
That's one minute gone in the round. Wall throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Germain stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Wall closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Germain is looking to get full guard. It looks like he might be successful but at the last minute Wall jumps into side control! Wall in side control, just content to control the action for now. Wall stands up and beckons Germain to his feet. Wall throws a series of strikes that have Germain backpedaling.
Wall darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Wall decides to return to a standing position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Germain wants to clinch but Wall slips to the side and Wall counters with a lovely shot to the body. Daniel Germain is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Germain wants to clinch but Wall slips to the side and Wall counters with a series of strikes. Germain will be more careful next time no doubt. Germain throws a combination that misses and Wall counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. Wall closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Wall takes a little break here. Germain wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well. Wall decides to take the fight back to the feet. Wall drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Wall not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Wall stands up from Germain's guard - Wall perhaps looking for a knockout. Wall drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Wall controlling the position from side mount. Wall decides to stand back up. Wall steps back and let's Germain get back to his feet. Germain throws a series of punches but Wall moves out of range. Wall is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Germain rather than just go for the knockout. Wall fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Germain avoids it really well and circles away.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Germain looks to clinch and Wall counters with a lovely shot to the body. Germain closes the distance looking to clinch and Wall counters with a three punch combo that has Germain backing up. Germain nods at Wall to acknowledge the strikes. Germain tries to clinch but Wall is having none of it. Germain misses with a combination
and Wall counters with a leg kick. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Germain swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Wall counters with a right hand to the body. A left and a right from Wall both land. Nice combination. Germain misses with a combination
and Wall counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Germain thinking. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Wall manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Germain on his heels. He'll look to pass Germain's guard now, I'm sure. Wall gets to his feet. Germain looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! Wall circles away from the clinch attempt.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Andrew Wall dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Wall shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Germain's guard. Wall is posturing up here but Germain has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Wall tries to roll out but it's too tight and Wall has to tap! Slick submission there by Germain!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:23 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Daniel Germain! A relieved looking Daniel Germain thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
