Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Matheus Fonseca (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jeffrey Chambers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fonseca comes to the cage accompanied by Funkist-Snow Fairy. Jeffrey Chambers is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Matheus Fonseca! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jeffrey Chambers! The judges for this bout are Leandro Rodrigues, Felipe Paraventi and Matheus Silva.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Chambers dives in and scores a takedown into Fonseca's guard. Fonseca throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land. Chambers thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Chambers with a flurry of punches that miss. Fonseca is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Chambers drops back looking for a leg! Fonseca is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Fonseca manages to kick Chambers off! Chambers jumps back into Fonseca's guard. Chambers works over Fonseca with some ground and pound from guard. Fonseca looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Fonseca throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land. Fonseca working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Chambers. Fonseca has momentary wrist control but Chambers slips an elbow through the middle.
That's one minute gone in the round. Chambers drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Chambers jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Fonseca has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Chambers has passed into side control.
Chambers has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Chambers tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Chambers has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Chambers in side control, working for a kimura. He's got hold of an arm and he's torquing it... Fonseca is tapping! That's the end of the fight!
