Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ogami Itto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Aapo Ik (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Itto's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Sever the Wicked. Both fighter's entrance songs getting the crowd jumping here.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Ogami Itto! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Aapo Ik! The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Yukihiro Shimada and Shigeki Fujiwara.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight. Ik keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Itto. Itto looks to land a left hand but Ik moved out of range nicely. Itto fails to land with a series of punches.
Itto waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Ik. Itto throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Itto fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. Itto lands a body shot.
Itto slips under a jab from Ik.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ik looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Itto is fending him off so far but Ik persists. Nope, Itto circles away and we're back to standing. Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world. Ik tries to bum rush Itto with a series of wild strikes but Itto uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Ik misses with a hook. Itto ducked under it nicely. Ik takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

It looks like Aapo Ik has been cut. Itto slips under a jab from Ik.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Itto swings for the body but Ik moves out of range.
Ik defending well as Itto loads up on a big left hand. Itto throws a combination. Ik tries to block but a couple of punches get through. Itto waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Ik. Ik shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. Itto trying to hold on to Ik's head to control him but Ik postures up.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Nice strikes from Ik there. Ik is controlling the pace.
Ik scoring with strikes to the body and head. Ik throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Ik thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Itto's head. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Ik is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position. Itto is looking to escape. Ik working Itto over with strikes. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Itto is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Ik scores with a couple of nice shots. Ik seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Itto does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Itto on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Itto tries to get out of the position. Ik is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Ik is keen to just control but Itto is a slippery customer. Itto pushes Ik off looking to stand but Ik dives back in and keeps control.
Ik is trying to control. Itto wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Ik not landing any meaningful shots this time. Ik thows a huge punch but Itto dodges it nicely.

Ik scoring with strikes to the body and head. Ik is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound. Ik missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Ik connects with a nice short shot to Itto's temple.
Itto is rocked! Ik lands a big elbow - Itto is out of it! He's waving his arms around but his eyes are closed and he's not intelligently defending himself - the ref has no choice but to jump in and stop the fight! This one is in the books! A TKO win for Ik!
