Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Chris Frost! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Mr GameOver! The judges for this bout are James Glass, Andrew Berry and Colin Fotheringham.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Frost shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Frost is looking to take a break and control but GameOver is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Frost in particular looking to stall. Frost thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. That's one minute gone in the round. Frost tries to pass the half guard into mount. GameOver knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. Frost is working hard here to advance position. GameOver is trying to stand back up but Frost is controlling him
Frost stalling away here and it's allowed GameOver to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard. GameOver keeping full guard, as Frost tries to pass. Frost throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
That's two minutes gone in the round. GameOver preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Frost trying to control the position from guard on top but GameOver is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. GameOver is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Frost is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
The ref stands the fighters back up because Chris Frost just wasn't active enough. GameOver lands a jab-cross combination.
That's three minutes gone in the round. GameOver stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and GameOver wants it to stay on the feet. GameOver misses with a series of wild punches.
Frost closes this distance looking for a takedown but GameOver circles away. A punch combination from GameOver misses. Mr GameOver is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. GameOver lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Frost circles away quickly and effectively. GameOver drops Frost with a nice combination! GameOver dives into Frost's guard, looking to finish!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here. GameOver decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Frost, up you get! Nice sprawl there from GameOver as Frost shoots in. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Chris Frost. That's going to take a lot out of him. GameOver leaves Frost with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Frost is breathing heavily. Frost misses with a body shot
and GameOver counters with a right, left combo that wobbles Frost badly! GameOver follows up with a massive right hook, straight to the bridge of the nose that knocks Frost out cold! Oh wow, what a finish! Very reminiscent of Koscheck vs Yoshida as GameOver finished him against the cage.
