Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Alex Kuruts (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Adelberry Gunderson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Alex Kuruts! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Adelberry Gunderson! The judges for this bout are Nard Betker, Aafke Stam and Patrick Alders.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Gunderson dives in and grabs Kuruts's left leg, looking for a takedown. Kuruts pushes down on Gunderson's head and hops out. Gunderson shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Kuruts but Kuruts pushes him off and we're back to square one. Gunderson moves into range and clinches up with Kuruts. Gunderson wants a takedown but no success here.
Alex Kuruts has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Adelberry Gunderson. Gunderson tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Kuruts smiles and moves away.
Gunderson scores with a takedown into Kuruts's guard. Gunderson got a little sloppy there for a moment and Kuruts has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Gunderson has managed to get both his arms back between Kuruts's legs - danger averted. Kuruts can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Gunderson controls the pace. Kuruts not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Kuruts might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Gunderson lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Gunderson engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. Gunderson stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Kuruts swivels though and keeps the full guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Gunderson content to stall in guard here.
Adelberry Gunderson has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet. Gunderson gets a double leg takedown into Kuruts's guard. Kuruts wants to sweep here but Gunderson controlling him for the moment. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Kuruts looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Gunderson showing good wrestling skills to control the position. Gunderson trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Kuruts looking to sweep here. No luck so far. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Kuruts is on top in guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kuruts engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. This has been an exciting period of action! Kuruts wants to control from the top but Gunderson keeps moving. Gunderson wants to stand and escape but Kuruts is having none of it. Kuruts trying to control the position from guard on top but Gunderson is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Gunderson is trying to control the position but Kuruts postures up. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Gunderson has his foot on Kuruts's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Kuruts works his way back into a safe position though. Kuruts won't allow Gunderson to get back to his feet. Kuruts trying to control but Gunderson is working from the bottom. Gunderson has control of Kuruts's left arm, preventing Kuruts from doing any damage.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Alex Kuruts. Gunderson throws out a powerful jab. Gunderson closes the distance and pushes Kuruts back into the cage. Gunderson wants to get back to striking at distance but Kuruts won't allow it.
Kuruts blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Gunderson tries to circle away but Kuruts has him pinned against the cage. Kuruts gets a nice trip takedown into half guard. Kuruts is looking to advance position but Gunderson won't allow it. Kuruts passes the guard and advances to mount! Gunderson has left one of his arms exposed and Kuruts doesn't need a second invitation. He's isolated it and locked on a tight armbar. Gunderson screams and taps out, obviously in a lot of pain. Hopefully there isn't permanent damage to that arm.
