The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Christianson avoids the head kick by Takahashi.

Takahashi bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

Christianson walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Takahashi connects with a leg kick. Christianson looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.

Takahashi looks for a left high kick but can't connect. Takahashi backs up to catch a breather... no he lunges forward with a huge flying knee that smacks Christianson's temple! It sends Christianson violently to the canvas! The crowd goes nuts as Takahashi celebrates and the doctors try to help Christianson!
