Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Nick Diaz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Steve Rogers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
11 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Nick Diaz! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
26 - 25 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Steve Rogers! The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Paul Aken and Albert Achterberg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Diaz misses the jab. Rogers falls off balance throwing a combination
and Diaz counters with a left and a right that stings Rogers. Rogers scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent. Rogers fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Diaz avoids it really well and circles away. Diaz misses with a few strikes there.
Rogers takes a jab right on the kisser.
Diaz misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Rogers.
Rogers throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Diaz was covering up waiting for the punch and Rogers finishes the takedown easily into guard. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Rogers distracts Diaz with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. Rogers trying to control the position from guard on top but Diaz is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Diaz has momentary wrist control but Rogers slips an elbow through the middle. The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Rogers is looking to work some ground and pound but Diaz has wrist control. Diaz is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Diaz might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
That's one minute gone in the round. Diaz bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Rogers's guard. Rogers wants to stand up but Diaz is controlling him. Diaz wants to control from the top but Rogers keeps moving. Rogers striking off his back but it's not causing Diaz any problems. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. Diaz trying to control the position from guard on top but Rogers is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Diaz won't allow Rogers to sweep him here.
We're going to have a standup here because Nick Diaz wasn't active enough for the referee's liking. Rogers throws a nice looking combination but Diaz bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Diaz ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Rogers moves away. Diaz jabs Rogers to the body, keeping him at a distance. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Diaz fakes a jab and then connects with a hook. A looping hook to the body misses from Diaz. Rogers does a little dance to reset his feet. Diaz changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Rogers shoots in looking for a takedown. Diaz tries to sprawl out of it but Rogers keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the ropes. Diaz manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Diaz misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
A low kick from Rogers misses and Diaz counters with a straight punch to the midsection. No joy there for Diaz, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Rogers misses with a takedown attempt - Diaz sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Nick Diaz has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Steve Rogers. Rogers is trying hard to land a takedown here. Diaz sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Rogers motions for Diaz to come forward. Rogers throws a leg kick but it misses it's target. A combination from Diaz does no damage. Diaz misses with a body shot.
Rogers wants to clinch up but Diaz keeps it at a distance. Diaz darts in and out, connecting with a jab. Rogers misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Diaz.
Rogers tries to land a front kick but Diaz steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed. Diaz smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button. Rogers works over Diaz's head and body with a nice combination. Diaz has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Rogers. Diaz tries to bum rush Rogers with a series of wild strikes but Rogers uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Rogers on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. Diaz rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Rogers moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Diaz throws a combination that misses and Rogers counters with a two punch combo. Diaz cracks Rogers with an open hand slap. Diaz ducks down and throws a hook to the body. Rogers scores with a decent looking hook. Diaz throws a body punch but Rogers moves out of range. Diaz is looking to wear down Rogers with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment. Rogers takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Rogers slips a jab and a cross from Diaz.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Rogers lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Diaz has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Diaz and we're back underway with a touch of gloves. Rogers lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Rogers. Rogers throws out a leg kick but Diaz moves out of range and Rogers only half commits. Diaz dodges the punch combination from Rogers.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Rogers throws a nice looking combination but Diaz bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Rogers avoids the body shot from Diaz.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Diaz takes a swing at Rogers's ribcage but misses. A good leg kick by Rogers. Rogers throws a low kick but it's checked well by Diaz. Diaz lands with a straight right. Rogers didn't see that one coming. Rogers scoring well with a low kick there.
Rogers fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Diaz has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage. Rogers lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh. Diaz scores with a hook to the body. Rogers takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. Danga de danga de dang - Rogers scores with a four punch combination! Rogers swings away with a leg kick that misses. Rogers moves in looking to clinch but Diaz pushes him off. Diaz shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. Diaz lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Rogers scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
Diaz is rocked! The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Both fighters step back and shake their arms out. Rogers engages and cracks Diaz with a massive lead left hook - Diaz tumbles to the floor, out cold! What a shot! Rogers is delighted - all that hard work in training paid off!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:53 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Steve Rogers! Steve Rogers decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
