The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The Shank misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Rampage shoots for a double leg takedown but The Shank sprawls well. He's pushed Rampage's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
The Shank looks to land a combination but Rampage avoids it well.
The Shank throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.

The Shank scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
The Shank in side control, throwing shots but Rampage defends.
The Shank tries to score with some ground and pound. Rampage controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Rampage uses the cage to get back to his feet.
Rampage shoots in looking for a takedown. The Shank tries to sprawl out of it but Rampage keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. The Shank manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Rampage changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. The Shank tries to avoid it but Rampage manages to keep hold of a leg and drag The Shank to the ground. The Shank escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
