Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Warwick Martigan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Johnny Ray Miranda (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Miranda's choice of entrance music: I'm Not Alright from Shinedown. Johnny Ray Miranda has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Warwick Martigan!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Johnny Ray Miranda!
The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Alec Ball and William Peck.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Martigan throws a head kick but Miranda moves out of range.
Martigan lands with an uppercut that bounces Miranda off the cage and back into range.
Martigan fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
A looping hook to the body misses from Martigan. Miranda does a little dance to reset his feet.
Miranda tries to close the distance and clinch up but Martigan swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Miranda fails to land the takedown.
Martigan throws a good cross that connects.
Miranda changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Martigan tries to avoid it but Miranda manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Martigan to the ground. Martigan escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Martigan lands with a good body shot.
Miranda moves into the clinch.

Martigan keeps the fight on the outside.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Miranda closes the distance and pushes Martigan back into the cage.

Miranda jumps guard but Martigan stands there with Miranda around his waist. Miranda gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

A nice glancing elbow lands by Miranda.

The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Martigan in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Martigan lands a couple of digs.
Miranda working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Martigan doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Martigan manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Martigan throws a big right hand that misses.
Miranda is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Miranda not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Martigan cracks Miranda with an open hand slap.
Martigan instigates a clinch.

Miranda fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Martigan is pushing Miranda up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.
Martigan on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Miranda turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Miranda manages to end up in side control.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Miranda wants to lay and pray for a moment but Martigan keeps working.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Warwick Martigan will probably get the nod.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Miranda misses with a kick to the body.
Martigan cracks Miranda with a right hand to the side of the head.
Martigan closes the distance and pushes Miranda back into the cage.
Martigan lands a shoulder strike.
Miranda is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Martigan is defending well.
Still in the clinch, Martigan scores with a nice short uppercut.
Miranda pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage.

Miranda gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Martigan.
Miranda throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Miranda uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Martigan.
Martigan swats away the attempt to clinch by Miranda.
A combination from Martigan does no damage.
Martigan lands a lovely overhand right.
Martigan tests Miranda's chin there with a solid looking shot.
A punch lands to the side of Miranda 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Miranda swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Miranda defending well as Martigan loads up on a big left hand.
Miranda looks to land a body kick but Martigan moved away.
Miranda tries to clinch there but Martigan circles away.
Miranda clinches.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Miranda's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Miranda walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Miranda is rocked!
Martigan connects with a superb combination that knocks Miranda out cold! The referee charges across the mat and tackles Martigan before he can land any more shots to the unconscious Miranda!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:10 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Warwick Martigan!
