Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Trevor Sloan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mike Morales (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sloan comes to the cage accompanied by What you know about that. Mike Morales struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 136.6lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. Let's see how much it's taken out of him. On his way into the cage it seems that Trevor Sloan has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Trevor Sloan seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Trevor Sloan! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Mike Morales! The judges for this bout are Skip Squint, Donatello Bradman and John Mangel.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sloan throws a sloppy head kick and Morales moves out of range easily. Morales tries to close the distance and clinch up but Sloan swats him away and circles back towards the center. Sloan has managed to clinch.
Morales is trying to stall.
Sloan jumps guard but Morales stands there with Sloan around his waist. Sloan gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. Sloan has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Morales can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Sloan will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.
Sloan wants to sweep here but Morales controlling him for the moment.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sloan escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Morales gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Sloan looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Sloan had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Morales defends it easily. Sloan is working an open guard so Morales takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Morales wants to clinch. Morales misses with a takedown attempt - Sloan sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Sloan shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Morales napping and manages to drive through into side control! Sloan wants to control but Morales is keeping him busy. Sloan postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Morales is not content to let Sloan control the position. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Trevor Sloan. Morales moves to clinch but Sloan breaks away and Sloan counters with a head kick. That will keep Morales thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Morales tries for a takedown but Sloan circles away easily and Sloan counters by clinching up. Morales looks winded! A right handed body shot lands from Sloan.
Morales misses with an elbow over the top. Sloan ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Sloan no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Morales avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Sloan will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Morales has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Sloan is proving hard to escape from. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Trevor Sloan dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Morales tries to close the distance and clinch but Sloan swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Sloan gets a takedown into half guard. Sloan is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. Morales keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Trevor Sloan just wasn't active enough. Morales wants to clinch but Sloan slips to the side and Sloan counters with a takedown into side control. Sloan wants to lay and pray for a moment but Morales keeps working. Morales is breathing heavily. Morales taking punishment in the form of punches.

Morales is not content to let Sloan control the position. Sloan wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Morales, who protects the arm well.

Morales has his takedown stuffed and Sloan makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Sloan closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Morales's guard. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Sloan sitting in guard here, content to control. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.

Trevor Sloan dominated that second round. That's time! Sloan's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!
Morales gets caught flat footed, as Sloan shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Sloan wants to pass the guard but Morales is keeping the position. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Sloan gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Morales. Sloan lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt. Sloan throws a head kick but Morales moves out of range.
Morales throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Sloan's waist but Sloan gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Morales off to one side. Morales takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Sloan fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Morales, pushing him back against the cage.
That's one minute gone in the round. Morales lands a damaging elbow. Sloan goes for a takedown in the clinch but Morales prevents it.

Trevor Sloan is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Sloan misses with a double jab.

Morales misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Sloan.
Sloan tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Sloan is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Morales gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Trevor Sloan. That's going to take a lot out of him. Sloan avoids a wild elbow strike from Morales. Morales missing with knees to the body.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Morales tries to land knees in the clinch but Sloan avoids the damage to the body. Some stalling of biblical proportions here from Sloan. Sloan gets control of Morales's arms and successfully pulls guard. Sloan will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back. Sloan thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Sloan wants to sweep here but Morales controlling him for the moment. Sloan is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

Sloan really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Morales tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Sloan counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Morales's guard now. Morales wants to stand but Sloan is controlling the position. Sloan is standing up over Morales. Morales looks to escape but Sloan dives into side control.
And that's the end of the fight! Trevor Sloan showed his dominance in that final round. Well Sloan has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
