Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Milan Simon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chuck Konga (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Milan Simon!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Chuck Konga!
The judges for this bout are Paulsen Ambrosius, Paul Aken and Patrick Alders.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Konga tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Simon counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Konga closes the distance looking to clinch

and Simon counters with a shoot takedown. Konga fights it but they end up in guard.
Konga has momentary wrist control but Simon slips an elbow through the middle.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Simon's corner. There ya go! There ya go!

Simon decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Konga, up you get!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Simon closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Konga looks winded!

Simon is looking for a kimura here.

Simon decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Simon is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Konga's half guard.
Simon drops an elbow to the side of Konga's head.
Simon controlling the pace.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

Milan Simon has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.

Simon closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Simon lands in his opponent's guard.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Simon controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Simon drops back looking for a leg! Konga is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Konga manages to kick Simon off! Simon jumps back into Konga's guard.

Simon stands up from Konga's guard - Simon perhaps looking for a knockout.

Simon drives through with a takedown into Konga's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Simon showing good wrestling skills to control the position.
Konga is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Simon is controlling him.
Simon content to stall in guard here.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Simon advances to half guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Milan Simon dominated that round.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!



Simon gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Konga tries to land a knee to the head but misses.
Konga is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Simon is defending well for now.
Konga misses with a knee strike.

Simon breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Simon moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.


Konga is rocked!
Konga moves to clinch but Simon breaks away
and Simon makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Konga is still on wobbly legs! Can Simon finish him?
Simon fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Konga looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

Simon is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Konga's half guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Simon decides to return to a standing position.
Simon throws a leg kick which misses Konga's front leg but catches the back leg as Konga tries to avoid it.
Konga is breathing heavily.
Konga blocks a head kick by Simon.

Simon closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Konga to the mat! Konga manages to get full guard.

Simon gets to his feet. Konga looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!

Simon moves into range and clinches up with Konga.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Simon ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Simon no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Simon manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Simon postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Konga looks a forlorn figure.
Simon pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
Simon lands a big elbow.
Konga is in a horrible position here. Simon smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
Simon content just to control the position here.

Simon throws some shoulder strikes here and then postures up. Oh, he's gone for an armbar! Konga has his hands clasped together but Simon breaks the hold and Konga is forced to tap! This one is aaaaaaaaaaall over! That was lightning fast by Simon!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:18 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Milan Simon!
