Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rick Conley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Renars Stunza (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
7 - 5 - 0, fighting out of New York, Rick Conley! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
7 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Renars Stunza! The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Stewart Dunkirk and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Conley throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Stunza misses with a takedown attempt - Conley sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Stunza getting the better of the striking in that exchange. Stunza moves away from the strike by Conley. Stunza fails in his attempt to clinch. Renars Stunza seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Stunza slips a jab and a cross from Conley.
Conley defending well as Stunza loads up on a big left hand. Conley buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.

The fight stays on the outside here - Stunza looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Conley takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Conley misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
A big left from Stunza misses. Conley throws the left hand but Stunza avoids the punch easily. Stunza throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Stunza moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body. Stunza fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Conley avoids it really well and circles away.
That's one minute gone in the round. Conley throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. It looks like Renars Stunza has been cut. Stunza slips under a jab. Conley throws a half hearted mid kick. Stunza connects with a jab. Stunza throws a jab when Conley was well out of range. Conley scores with a punch to the head. Rick Conley is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Conley.
Conley throws a body kick but he was well out of range there. Stunza thuds his right hand into Conley's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters. Stunza has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Conley. Stunza looks to score with a jab to the body but Conley is just out of range. Stunza fails with an attempt to clinch.

Stunza's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Conley connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Stunza scrambles back to his feet. Conley tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Conley takes one to the side of the head.
Stunza looks to clinch and Conley counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena. Conley gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there. Good work by Stunza as he checks the leg kick. Conley looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Conley takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it. Stunza throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Stunza lands an overhand right. Conley throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Stunza sees it coming and avoids it easily. Conley throws a low kick but Stunza moves out of range easily. A head kick misses from Conley. Conley takes one to the chin there. Conley uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Stunza.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Stunza lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Stunza. Conley moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot. Conley is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Stunza is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Conley's half guard. Stunza seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Renars Stunza. Stunza swings and misses with a hook to the body.

Stunza has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight. A low kick from Conley is predictable there and Stunza counters with a right hand to the body. Conley circles away from the clinch attempt.

Stunza dips to his left and cracks Conley with an uppercut! Stunza moves into range and lands a nice leg kick. Conley fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Stunza manages to avoid it. Stunza lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin. Stunza staying out of range there. Stunza lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook. Conley loads up on a big right hand but Stunza slips the punch. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Stunza slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range. Conley throws a low kick but Stunza moves out of range easily. Stunza avoids a punch combination nicely.
Conley rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Stunza moves out of range and avoids them all easily. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Renars Stunza dominated that round. The cut man is working on Renars Stunza's cut. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Stunza dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Stunza looks to land a combination but Conley avoids it well. Stunza misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Conley.
Stunza will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Conley with a hook. Conley throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.

Stunza misses with a looping left. Stunza moves forwards but Conley connects with a nice, crisp jab. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Stunza takes one to the chin there. Conley throws a wild body kick that Stunza sees coming a mile off. Stunza jabs Conley right on the nose. Conley blinks but takes it well. Stunza throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Conley sees it coming and avoids it easily. Stunza scores with a jab to the jaw. Stunza tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Conley manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Stunza drives through and clinches with Conley against the cage.

Renars Stunza seems to be getting the better of the standup. Conley tries to land a front kick but Stunza steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed. Stunza lands with an uppercut that bounces Conley off the cage and back into range. Conley throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Stunza rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Conley moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Stunza fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Conley manages to avoid it. Stunza checks a leg kick. Stunza throws a good cross that connects.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Stunza scores with a crisp jab that stopped Conley in his tracks. Stunza scores with a hook to the body. Conley takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. Conley looks like he's developed a pretty tasty lump over his left eye. He'll need to avoid taking much more damage to that.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Jab, jab by Conley - just one landing. Nice jab there from Stunza. A nice leg kick lands there from Conley. Stunza fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Conley looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Stunza scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Stunza feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Stunza sitting in guard here, content to control. Conley is trying to control the position but Stunza postures up. Stunza slips nicely into half guard. Stunza is looking to take a break and control but Conley is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Stunza thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Stunza wants to stand up but Conley has a hold of him and won't allow it. Stunza not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Conley works his way to full guard. Good work. Stunza trying to control the position from guard on top but Conley is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Conley not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

Renars Stunza has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet. Stunza cracks Conley with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage. Conley keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

Conley has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Stunza is working away from the top position though.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Stunza has Conley up against the cage in a clinch.
Stunza prevents Conley from breaking the clinch. Stunza misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Conley pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Conley with a body punch. A glancing blow. Stunza throws a nice looking combination but Conley bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Conley throws a head kick that misses. Conley moves into range and lands a nice leg kick. Conley takes one to the side of the head.
Stunza shoots in and drives through. Conley sprawls well. Rick Conley has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Renars Stunza. Conley misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Stunza clinches up against the cage. A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors. Stunza swings away with an uppercut that misses.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Conley swings wildly with an uppercut but Stunza uses good head movement to avoid it. This has been an exciting period of action! Conley is trying to push Stunza away but Stunza has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere. Conley lands a hook to the side of the head. Conley breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. A looping hook to the body misses from Conley. Stunza does a little dance to reset his feet. Stunza swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Stunza shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Conley's guard. Rick Conley has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Conley looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Stunza scores with a decent looking elbow strike. Stunza is stalling in the full guard. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Conley has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Stunza can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Conley avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
And that's the end of the fight! Renars Stunza comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Stunza has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
