Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Jonnie Boardwalk (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and CJ Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Johnson is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by 2pac & Dr.Dre - California Love. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
17 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jonnie Boardwalk! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
20 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, CJ Johnson! The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Daniel Franklin and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Johnson staying out of range there. Johnson has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Johnson there as he acknowledges the shot. Johnson fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Boardwalk looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Johnson slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range. A jab from Boardwalk does it's job there. Johnson misses with a looping right. Johnson is looking to land body kicks. Boardwalk on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Johnson. Johnson obviously looking to wear him down.
Johnson pivots, looking for a leg kick but Boardwalk is out of range and Johnson settles back down. Boardwalk ducks under a wild hook from Johnson. A solid leg kick lands there for Johnson.

Boardwalk throws a looping overhand right but Johnson ducks down to avoid it. Johnson has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Johnson there as he acknowledges the shot. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Johnson scores with a jab. Boardwalk acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
That's one minute gone in the round. Johnson dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Boardwalk. That did some damage! Boardwalk slips a jab from Johnson. CJ Johnson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. A right-left combo lands from Johnson.
Boardwalk is rocked! Boardwalk tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him. Oh Boardwalk is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! CJ Johnson is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Nice uppercut there from Johnson. Johnson lands a leg kick that knocks Boardwalk off balance momentarily. Johnson avoids the body shot from Boardwalk.
Boardwalk blocks a leg kick. Boardwalk seems to have got his legs back now. A low kick from Johnson is predictable there and Boardwalk counters with a left to the body. Boardwalk misses with a wild body shot. Johnson throws a half hearted mid kick. Johnson gets in close and instigates a clinch. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Boardwalk tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked. Johnson lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Johnson working some nice short punches in the clinch. Boardwalk can't find room to land a body shot as Johnson controls the action.
Johnson lands a left hand that snaps the head of Boardwalk backwards. Boardwalk avoids the elbow strike from Johnson, against the cage.

Boardwalk tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage. Johnson scores with an uppercut up the middle. Boardwalk takes a shot to the head. Boardwalk misses with some punches.
Boardwalk takes a shot to the head. Johnson lands with a short shot to the head. Boardwalk lands a nice uppercut. Boardwalk wants to take the fight to the mat but Johnson manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch. Johnson misses with a body punch.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Johnson lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Boardwalk. Boardwalk is breathing heavily. Johnson pushes Boardwalk back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head. Johnson stalling in the clinch.
Johnson lands a right hand that snaps the head of Boardwalk backwards. Johnson taking a breather. Johnson blocks an uppercut.
Boardwalk turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control! Johnson is trying to control Boardwalk's posture but Boardwalk avoids it. Boardwalk in side control, just content to control the action for now. Johnson tries to get back to half guard but can't.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Johnson holds on to Boardwalk's head and controls the position momentarily. Johnson can't do much from the bottom here. Johnson regains half guard. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Boardwalk is thwarting Johnson's attempts to control the position. Johnson is looking for a sweep. Boardwalk is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Boardwalk wants to control but Johnson is keeping him busy. Johnson is doing well to avoid being mounted. He's controlling the position at the moment. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
CJ Johnson dominated that round. That's time! Boardwalk's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Johnson thumps Boardwalk with a low kick. Boardwalk dives in and grabs Johnson's left leg, looking for a takedown. Johnson pushes down on Boardwalk's head and hops out. A low kick from Johnson is predictable there and Boardwalk counters with a stiff right hand. Jab from Johnson. Johnson looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.

Johnson fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Boardwalk on the side of the head. Johnson keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Boardwalk misses with an uppercut. Johnson lands a jab to the head.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Boardwalk shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Johnson as he avoids it easily. A nice leg kick lands there from Johnson.
That's one minute gone in the round. Johnson throws a shot to the body.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Boardwalk moves out of range of the leg kick from Johnson. Johnson works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance. Boardwalk walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head. Johnson scores with a slapping inside leg kick. Boardwalk gets caught by a big overhand right and goes down! Johnson gets on top of him and starts throwing some serious punches until the ref intervenes and stops the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:32 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). CJ Johnson! Our winner, CJ Johnson, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
