Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Alvan Kerrigan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Avarice Greed (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kerrigan comes into the arena with BUSH- MACHINE HEAD blaring out of the sound system. Avarice Greed will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Kerrigan takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Avarice Greed seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Kerrigan seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Greed does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Kerrigan has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Kerrigan connects with a nice short shot to Greed's temple.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Kerrigan cracks Greed with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

Kerrigan wants to control the pace but Greed is squirming around nicely.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

The referee warns Greed that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Kerrigan has control of Greed's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Greed regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Greed tries to lock up and control but Kerrigan gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Kerrigan can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Greed is looking to escape.
Greed is in all sorts of trouble here.
BOOM! Kerrigan connects with a massive shot to the dome!

Greed is trying to escape but when you're mounted that's not too easy.
Kerrigan lands a nice shot to the head.

Kerrigan lands a big shot there that rocks Greed but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
Greed bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!
Kerrigan is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Oh but Kerrigan is tightening it up a little... Greed has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Greed reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Greed taps out! nice BJJ there by Kerrigan!
