Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Eric Stratton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Santtu Selluliitti (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
13 - 8 - 0, fighting out of New York, Eric Stratton! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
7 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Santtu Selluliitti! The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Alan Glass and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Stratton throws a body punch but Selluliitti moves out of range. Stratton shoots in for a double leg but Selluliitti sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Stratton takes one to the side of the head.
Stratton scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Selluliitti is trying to get back to full guard. Stratton keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Selluliitti throws a strike from the bottom that misses.

Stratton is trying to push Selluliitti away but Selluliitti has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere. Stratton works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard.

Selluliitti manages to retain guard. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Selluliitti trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from! Selluliitti throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.
Stratton passes Selluliitti's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Selluliitti regains full guard. Nicely done. Selluliitti manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Stratton is flailing around like a fish out of water, trying to land strikes. Stratton is squirming around, avoiding Selluliitti's attempts to control the action. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Stratton really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
Stratton is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.

Eric Stratton dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Stratton is looking to take a break and control but Selluliitti is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Eric Stratton overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Stratton cracks Selluliitti with a big right hand but Selluliitti just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.

You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Stratton fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Selluliitti manages to avoid it. Selluliitti misses with a looping right. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Stratton misses with a series of wild punches.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Stratton fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Selluliitti scores with a shot to the body.

Selluliitti throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Stratton bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. That's three minutes gone in the round. Selluliitti works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance. Selluliitti has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight. Stratton scores with a hook to the body. Selluliitti takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. Stratton lands the left hand. Stratton gets a takedown into half guard. Stratton prevents Selluliitti from improving his position. Selluliitti is refusing to be controlled, as Stratton sits in half guard. Selluliitti slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Stratton wants to control from the top but Selluliitti keeps moving. Selluliitti is trying to control the position but Stratton postures up. Selluliitti will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.
