Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ruslan Khabiibov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Teukka Rauta (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 14 - 1, fighting out of Helsinki, Ruslan Khabiibov!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Teukka Rauta!
The judges for this bout are Johanna Lukiainen, Roosa Järviläinen and Ben Zyskovitsi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Khabiibov fails with a takedown attempt.
Khabiibov tries to clinch up but Rauta circles away and keeps his distance.

Rauta sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Khabiibov's guard.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Rauta accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

and Rauta counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Khabiibov stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Rauta swivels though and keeps the full guard.

and Rauta counters with a nice double leg into side control. Khabiibov won't be happy with that.

Rauta might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Khabiibov kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

Rauta has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Khabiibov's face.

Khabiibov wants to control but Rauta is having none of it.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Rauta is stalling here. Khabiibov is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Rauta seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Khabiibov has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.

Khabiibov is working for a guillotine from mount but Rauta frees his head quite easily.

Rauta has left one of his arms exposed and Khabiibov doesn't need a second invitation. He's isolated it and locked on a tight armbar. Rauta screams and taps out, obviously in a lot of pain. Hopefully there isn't permanent damage to that arm.
