Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Colin Booth (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mohammad Al Nasser (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Colin Booth!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Mohammad Al Nasser!
The judges for this bout are Igor Prikhodko, Dmitry Maklakov and Vladimir Khabensky.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Al Nasser is trying hard to land a takedown here. Booth sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Booth misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Al Nasser.
Al Nasser throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Booth's waist but Booth gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Al Nasser off to one side.

Al Nasser clinches with his opponent.
Booth has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Booth is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Al Nasser is keeping busy.
Booth on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Al Nasser using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Booth has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Booth misses with the head strike.
Booth is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage.
Booth blocks an uppercut.
A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.
Al Nasser has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Booth is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Colin Booth has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mohammad Al Nasser.

Booth can't find room to land a body shot as Al Nasser controls the action.

Booth's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Al Nasser slips under a jab from Booth.
Colin Booth seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Booth throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
Al Nasser closes this distance looking for a takedown but Booth circles away.
Booth misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Al Nasser.

Al Nasser clinches up against the cage.
A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.
Booth jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Al Nasser walks away with a smile on his face. Booth gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Al Nasser fails with the takedown.
Booth walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Al Nasser checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Some bone on bone action there as Al Nasser checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Al Nasser avoids the body shot from Booth.
Al Nasser looks to land a combination but Booth avoids it well.
Booth tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Booth cracks Al Nasser with a right hand to the side of the head.
Al Nasser drops his hands momentarily and Booth takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Al Nasser takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Al Nasser looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Booth is fending him off so far but Al Nasser persists. Nope, Booth circles away and we're back to standing.
Al Nasser looks winded!
Booth shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Booth takes a swing at Al Nasser's ribcage but misses.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Booth tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Al Nasser checks a leg kick.
Booth throws a hook to the side of Al Nasser's head but Al Nasser sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Al Nasser takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Booth throws a low kick but it's checked well by Al Nasser.
Booth is looking to score with low kicks.
Booth shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
A decent looking cross lands there for Booth.
Al Nasser blocks a low kick nicely.
Booth fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Al Nasser checks it well.
Booth does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Al Nasser checks a low kick from Booth.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Booth throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Al Nasser blocks a low kick nicely.
Al Nasser takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Booth pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Booth is looking to score with low kicks.
Booth connects with a right hand. Al Nasser shakes it off.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Booth scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Al Nasser gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Booth counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Booth misses with a low kick.
Booth bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Al Nasser's head backwards.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Colin Booth dominated that round.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!


Booth throws a low kick, looking for Al Nasser's leg but Al Nasser calmly moves out of range.
Booth misses the shot to the body.
Al Nasser ducks under a wild hook from Booth.
Colin Booth is winning the standup battle so far.
Booth throws a leg kick but Al Nasser sees it coming and checks it nicely.
Al Nasser checks a low kick from Booth.
Booth misses with a leg kick.
Booth throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Some bone on bone action there as Al Nasser checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Booth misses with a left hand

and Al Nasser counters by clinching up.
Booth tries to pull guard but Al Nasser holds him up against the cage and eventually Booth drops back down to his feet.
Al Nasser is trying desperately to land a takedown but Booth is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Al Nasser.
Booth wants to stall.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Al Nasser trying to land knees to the body.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Booth.
Al Nasser prevents a body shot from Booth.
Booth misses with a short punch on the inside.

Al Nasser has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Booth clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
Booth trying to control the hands but Al Nasser breaks the grip.
Booth is in bad spot here.
Booth is working hard here to advance position.
Well, with Al Nasser on his back, surely it's only a matter of time before Booth is tapping out... Can he escape the position?

Al Nasser is remaining active here, looking for the choke. The more discerning members of the crowd will appreciate his efforts.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Al Nasser is persistently looking for the submission but Booth is defending it well.
Al Nasser controlling well, preventing Booth from escaping the position.

Al Nasser has his arm under Booth's chin here. Game over son! Al Nasser squeezes tightly and Booth is forced to tap out!
