Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Mark Sikkila (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Luta Livre (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sikkila comes to the cage accompanied by Choke by Kittie. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Livre displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination.

Sikkila shoots in and bounces Livre off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Livre preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.

Livre escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Sikkila gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Sikkila has gone for a leg lock! Livre slips out almost immediately though and dives into Sikkila's guard.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Sikkila has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Livre's face.

A nice elbow there by Sikkila.
Sikkila avoids the attempt from Livre to control.
Sikkila breaks from Livre's wrist control and lands an elbow.
Sikkila pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.

Livre is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Sikkila's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Sikkila's back!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Sikkila rolls, trying to escape but Livre keeps control of the position.

Livre is working for the choke. I would put my money on him to finish from this position. He's rolled onto his back and has dragged Sikkila with him. Sikkila is trying to defend but Livre has an arm under the chin now! Sikkila grimaces and is forced to tap out!
