Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between William Wallace (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Andrei Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Wallace comes to the cage accompanied by Braveheart. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, William Wallace! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Andrei Jones! The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Daniel Franklin and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jones shoots in and bounces Wallace off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Jones is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Wallace is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Wallace has escaped and now he's on top! Wallace is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Wallace drops back, looking for a kneebar! Jones looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Jones looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Jones! Jones lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jones working the body and head with strikes. Jones working the strikes but Wallace uses the opportunity to regain half guard. Jones looks to score some points with some ground and pound. Jones lands strikes from half guard. Jones throws a strike but Wallace avoids it easily and moves to full guard. Jones with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. Jones lands a couple of decent looking shots. Wallace lands with a heel strike from the guard.
Wallace looking to hit a scissor sweep but Jones is one step ahead there. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Wallace avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Jones cracks Wallace with a solid left hand. Jones must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Jones accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Wallace is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Wallace controls Jones momentarily but Jones frees himself. Jones won't allow Wallace to sweep him here. Wallace keeping moving, preventing Jones from controlling successfully. Wallace utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Jones trying to control but Wallace is working from the bottom. Wallace trying to control the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Wallace shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Jones sprawls well. Jones wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Wallace gets slowly back to his feet. Wallace gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Jones to score an easy takedown into full guard. Wallace throwing strikes off his back to little effect.
Jones throws a big elbow that misses. Jones postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Jones wants to control from the top but Wallace keeps moving. Jones throwing strikes but missing.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Wallace has a closed guard, preventing Jones from standing up. Wallace trying to keep a closed guard but Jones is proving a slippery customer.
Jones is looking to stand up but Wallace won't let him. Jones trying to control the position from guard on top but Wallace is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. Wallace working for a triangle but Jones defends it easily.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Jones postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Andrei Jones dominated that round. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!
Jones looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Wallace is fending him off so far but Jones persists. Nope, Wallace circles away and we're back to standing. Jones tries to score a power double leg takedown but Wallace sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Jones somewhat. Jones motions for Wallace to come forward. Jones throws a leg kick but it misses it's target. Jones tries to sprawl but Wallace drives through with a takedown into half guard. Wallace wants to get back to his feet.
Wallace moves into full mount! Jones won't be happy about that! Wallace trying to control but Jones is having none of it. Jones is breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jones really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
Jones wants to control but Wallace is having none of it. Andrei Jones has got the better of the ground game so far. Jones tries to reverse the position but Wallace maintains control. Wallace has control of Jones's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Jones regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Jones in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Jones tries to get back to half guard but can't. Wallace tries to control but Jones wriggling away. Wallace raining down hammerfists from mount. Jones wants to improve position but instead he's given up his back. Wallace cracks Jones with a big shot to body and one to the head - really punishing Jones from the back mount here, looking to soften him up.
This has been an exciting period of action! Wallace is looking to control Jones but Jones is wriggling around and keeping busy.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Wallace lands an elbow to the side of the head. Wallace has got one arm under Jones's chin. This could be trouble... Jones trying to control the other hand but Wallace gets it free and sqeezes tight - just a matter of time now! Yep, Jones has tapped out! The fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:35 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). William Wallace! William Wallace bigged himself up after the win. The crowd seemed to love it.
