Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between TJ Maximus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jake Ferguson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Maximus comes into the arena with Hailmary blaring out of the sound system. Ferguson is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Flo Rida- 54321. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Frank Antenori and .
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ferguson fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Maximus avoids it really well and circles away.
Ferguson moves into the clinch.
Maximus pulls Ferguson into guard.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Ferguson trying to control the position from guard on top but Maximus is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Maximus throwing strikes off his back to little effect.
Maximus wants to stand and escape but Ferguson is having none of it.
Ferguson is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Jake Ferguson was stalling too much, according to the referee.
Maximus gets caught napping as Ferguson dives in and scores a takedown. Maximus manages to retain guard.

Maximus has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Ferguson can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Maximus has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Ferguson is looking to work some ground and pound but Maximus has wrist control.
Maximus wants to stand but Ferguson is controlling the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Ferguson trying to control but Maximus is working from the bottom.
Ferguson really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Maximus. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Maximus is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Ferguson is aware though and is defending well.
Maximus working away from the bottom but not quite defensive enough there because Ferguson has passed into half guard!
Maximus wants to improve his position but Ferguson is controlling well.

Ferguson is thwarting Maximus's attempts to control the position.
Maximus is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Ferguson pulls his head out easily.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Ferguson is looking to stall here but Maximus recovers full guard.

Maximus is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Ferguson is aware though and is defending well.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that TJ Maximus will probably get the nod.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Ferguson looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Maximus displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination.
Ferguson is rocked!
Ferguson moves in looking to clinch but Maximus pushes him off.
Ferguson shoots in for a double leg but Maximus sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Maximus looks to land a combination but Ferguson avoids it well.
Maximus lands a big right hand and follows it up with an uppercut. Oh and another big punch and a knee - Ferguson can't take much more of this! Another big shot to the jaw from Maximus and Ferguson drops to the floor. Beaten and bloodied - he had enough there. A vicious beatdown by Maximus.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:30 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). TJ Maximus!
A relieved looking TJ Maximus thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
