Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 10 - 2 - 1, fighting out of New York, Randall Cunningham!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 5 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Facaloto Gals!
The judges for this bout are Aleksandr Martynov, Valeri Chadov and Fedor Mirinova.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Cunningham lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Gals has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Gals and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Gals throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Gals changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Cunningham tries to avoid it but Gals manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Cunningham to the ground. Cunningham escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Cunningham slaps away a takedown attempt from Gals, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Horrible takedown by Gals or perhaps it was just good defense by Cunningham which made him look bad.
Randall Cunningham has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Facaloto Gals.
Cunningham connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Gals momentarily.
Gals shoots in for a takedown but Cunningham shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Gals misses with a takedown attempt - Cunningham sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Horrible takedown by Gals or perhaps it was just good defense by Cunningham which made him look bad.

Cunningham throws a front kick aimed at Gals's knee but Gals avoids it well.
Cunningham lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Gals tries to clinch there but Cunningham circles away.

Gals has Cunningham up against the cage in a clinch.
Cunningham is pressed up against the cage. Gals has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Cunningham down to the mat. Cunningham avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Cunningham forces Gals back against the cage and clinches.
Cunningham is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace.
Cunningham is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage.

Gals misses with a knee strike.

Gals jumps guard and drags Cunningham to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Gals can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Cunningham controls the pace.
Cunningham won't allow Gals to sweep him here.
Gals being controlled here, momentarily.
Gals controls Cunningham momentarily but Cunningham frees himself.
Gals looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Cunningham puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard.

Cunningham prevents Gals from improving his position.
Gals is trying to maintain the position but Cunningham is very close to passing his half guard.
Cunningham perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
Gals flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.
Gals won't allow Cunningham to pass to mount.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Cunningham wants to land a leg kick but Gals is out of range.
A jab from Cunningham does it's job there.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Gals shoots for a double leg takedown but Cunningham sprawls well. He's pushed Gals's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Cunningham displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Gals.
Cunningham throws a leg kick but Gals sees it coming and moves out of range.
The fighters circle, before Cunningham throws a beautiful high kick that crashes into Gals's neck, sending him stumbling to the floor! Cunningham lands more strikes and forces a referee stoppage! That one ended in an instant!

After the fight, Randall Cunningham was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
