Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Zemli Funtov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Travis Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Zemli Funtov had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 206.4lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Funtov takes one on the button.
Jones jabs Funtov to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Jones clobbers Funtov with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Jones feints a jab promting Funtov to slip. Jones then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Funtov slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Jones tests Funtov's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Jones throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Jones scores with a nice strike.

Jones is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Travis Jones seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Jones throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Zemli Funtov is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Jones rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Funtov moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Funtov avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Jones's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Jones duly obliges.
Jones uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Funtov has time to react.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Funtov looks like he's developed a pretty tasty lump over his left eye. He'll need to avoid taking much more damage to that.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Well Jones has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
