Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Son Goku (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kick Boxer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kick Boxer will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Kick Boxer!
The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Shigeki Sano and Yuuki Gou.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Goku looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Boxer looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Goku throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Kick Boxer seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Goku shoots in for a takedown but Boxer shows good takedown defense.
Boxer tries to close the distance and clinch but Goku swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Goku gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
Goku breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Goku fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Boxer, pushing him back against the cage.

Goku tries for a takedown but Boxer manages to get underhooks.
Goku drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Goku ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Goku no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Goku throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land.
Goku is pulling down on Boxer's head. It's preventing any offense from Boxer, at least for the moment.
Goku could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Goku is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Goku thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.

Goku darts in and clinches Boxer up against the cage.
Goku has Boxer pressed against the cage, preventing Boxer from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Goku keeps control of Boxer as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Goku gets control of Boxer's arms and successfully pulls guard. Goku will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
Goku manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Boxer manages to get himself to full guard.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Goku postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for Boxer to stand up.
Boxer leaves Goku with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Boxer buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Goku shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Boxer sprawls well. Boxer wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Goku gets slowly back to his feet.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Goku pushes Boxer up against the cage in a clinch.

Boxer is trying to break the clinch but Goku is controlling him.
A bit of stalling here from Goku.
Goku escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Goku keeps Boxer at a distance using the push kick.
Goku shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Boxer but Boxer pushes him off and we're back to square one.
