Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 14 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Shim Changmin!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Mikel Millar!
The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Yuuki Gou and Yukihiro Yamamoto.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Millar misses with a body punch
and Changmin counters with a one-two to the body.
Millar misses with a takedown attempt - Changmin sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Changmin circles away from the clinch attempt
and Changmin connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.


It looks like Mikel Millar has been cut.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Millar.

Millar closes the distance and clinches.
Millar is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Changmin to keep the fight standing.

and Changmin counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Millar shoots in for a takedown but Changmin shows good takedown defense.

and Changmin counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

Millar tries to clinch

and Changmin counters with a left and a right that hurts Millar! He wobbles and falls to the floor - he's in big trouble! Changmin jumps into full mount!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Changmin controlling the pace for now.
Millar bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!
Changmin is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Millar is controlling him.

Changmin is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.

and Changmin counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

and Changmin counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

and Changmin counters with a series of strikes. Millar will be more careful next time no doubt.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Millar looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Changmin is fending him off so far but Millar persists. Nope, Changmin circles away and we're back to standing.
Changmin keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Changmin stuffs the takedown attempt from Millar. Millar gets slowly back to his feet.
Millar is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
No luck for Millar with that takedown attempt.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Shim Changmin dominated that round.

Horrible takedown by Millar or perhaps it was just good defense by Changmin which made him look bad.

Millar is trying desperately to land a takedown but Changmin is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Millar.

and Changmin counters with a left and a right... And another left! Millar is down! He's done! The ref dives in to save him and that's the end of the fight!
