The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Numazawa fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Roberts checks it well.
Numazawa misses with a body shot.
Numazawa takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Numazawa thumps Roberts with a low kick.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Numazawa.

Numazawa misses with a head kick.
That kick from Numazawa tenderised Roberts's leg. Roberts is trying to keep his angry face on.
Roberts takes one on the button.
Roberts swats away the attempt to clinch by Numazawa.
Numazawa lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Numazawa attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.
Numazawa jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.

Roberts takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Roberts moves out of range of the body kick from Numazawa.
Numazawa attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.
Numazawa wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Numazawa is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Numazawa is looking to chop away at Roberts's legs.

Roberts shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Numazawa defends it nicely.
Numazawa misses with a low kick.
Numazawa tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Roberts manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Numazawa fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Roberts.
A bone on bone clash there as Roberts blocks the leg kick.

Numazawa lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
