Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ingo Pavlik (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marcus Hester (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

8 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Marcus Hester!
The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, George Francis and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fight stays on the outside here - Hester looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Hester fails with an attempt to clinch.
Pavlik misses with an attempted mid kick.
Hester shoots in looking for a takedown but Pavlik manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Hester's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Hester shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Hester thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Hester is stalling here. Pavlik is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Hester seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Pavlik has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Hester can do anything to dispel that myth.
Pavlik decides to stand up, so the ref orders Hester to his feet.
Hester is looking to clinch but Pavlik is avoiding it.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Hester wants to clinch
and Pavlik counters with a series of strikes that practically lifts Hester off his feet! He tumbles backwards, his head bouncing off the mat - Pavlik follows up with more strikes before the ref can step in but Hester was out before he hit the floor.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:08 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Ingo Pavlik!
A very excited looking Ingo Pavlik made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
